Zukerman Chamber Players at Berkeley!
Pinchas Zukerman has been an admired performer, conductor, and teacher for many years. I have had the pleasure of hearing him in live performances with the New York Philharmonic, and I have also enjoyed his playing, good humor, and fine musicianship in chamber music groups that included his friends, Yitzhak Perlman, Jacqueline DuPre, Zubin Mehta, and many others.
Mr. Zukerman is coming to Berkeley to give 2 concerts in February, 2011. Make your plans now, since the program is delightful, as follows:
Feb 12, 2011: At 8 PM
• Mozart: Divertimento for String Trio in E-flat Major, K. 563
• Brahms: Piano Quintet in F Minor
Feb 13, 2011: At 3 PM
• Brahms: Sonatensatz from F-A-E Sonata
• Mozart: Duo in G Major, K. 423
• Schumann: Fantasiestücke
• Brahms Piano Quartet No. 2
The performing group includes:
• Pinchas Zukerman, violin;
• Jessica Linnebach, violin;
• Jethro Marks, viola;
• Amanda Forsyth, cello;
• Angela Cheng, piano
Concerts at: Zellerbach Hall, at UC/Berkeley
Here are the Zukerman Chamber players performing:
