When Vol. 1 of this series was issued, it received outstanding notices, comparing it to the finest recorded Mozart CD’s.
Now we have Volume 2, which includes two of Mozart’s greatest creations- the dramatic D minor concerto, number 20, and the wonderful C major concerto, No. 21. Also on the same CD is the charming F major concerto, K. 413.
I listened to some samples of this new recording, and I found it to sparkle! The tempi seemed brisk and the clarity of the playing was excellent.
