Boris Bloch
I am just getting familiar with Russian pianist, Boris Bloch. I like what I hear. He seems to be an excellent pianist from the famous “Russian School”.
On this CD, he gives us the music of Chopin; fortunately there are selections besides Mazurkas. For me, an entire CD of nothing but Mazurkas gets a bit old… Below are some videos of Mr. Bloch performing Schubert and Bach. Scroll to the bottom and please give me your own opinion of his playing.
