This recording includes arias and songs performed by many singers. For me, the one very special performer from this group is soprano, Kathleen Battle.
We don’t hear much from her any more, and I miss the amazing music that she produced. I experienced her voice as having a wonderful, dark, mellow, and gentle quality.
