Hagen concert!
The Hagen String Quartet will present a Beethoven string quartet cycle in three concerts at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. I wish I could be there– Does anyone have space on a private jet??? 🙂
This fine Austrian ensemble has long been my favorite string quartet. I am just astounded by their amazing musicianship, and their terrific eye communication with one another, let alone the musical results that they achieve. Just watch and listen to Veronika Hagen, the violist. Every musician can learn from her!
