This DVD allows the viewer to gain an insight into a fascinating world that is usually concealed.
It is about finding the essence of the Italian character, in the center there is the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and its principal conductor, Sir Antonio Pappano.
An orchestra represents a tem of people. Frequently these folks have different backgrounds, yet a single common objective: To create wonderful music. This is the exciting story of their success.
With some of the best soloists and conductors in the world presenting materials collected during their collaboration with the Orchestra di Santa Cecilia. Some of the musicians are Yuri Temirkanov, James Conlon, Valery Gergiev, Daniel Harding, Janine Jansen, Lisa Batiashvili, Evgeny Kissin, Denis Matsuev, Stefano Bollani, and Lang Lang.
The film was selected for the Vancouver International Film Festival.
