Event at Carnegie Hall
- Leonidas Kavakos performs the Beethoven violin Sonatas.
The performances will take place at Zankel Hall, at Carnegie Hall, in New York City.
I have heard a lot of violinist Leonidas Kavakos, as he performed violin concertos with different orchestras. Most recently I recall his nice interpretation of Korngold’s violin concerto.
In this concert, however, you’ll get to see and hear a seemingly different artist: With his longtime accompanist, Enrico Pace, he takes on a complete survey of all of Beethoven’s violin sonatas in three concerts.
This is part of Carnegie Hall’s Viennese festival.
