Great Concert/Event:
Conductor Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic are wrapping up their season with a concert that incorporates both new and old music. The soloist at the concert is is pianist Yefim Bronfman.
The mid-point of the first program belongs to composer Anthony Cheung, who will enjoy the world première of his work “Lyra”;
The program begins with Bronfman’s performances of Beethoven’s Concertos No. 1 in C Major, and it ends with the Beethoven concerto No. 4 in G Major.
