For this Mozart masterpiece, a truly remarkable cast of opera stars came together for an amazing concert performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
Singer Ildebrando DArcangelo stars as the Don, attended by the brilliant Luca Pisaroni as his comic but noble servant Leporello. The tenor role of Don Ottavio is sung by Rolando Villazon. His heart-breaking betrothed Donna Anna is soprano star Diana Damrau. American mezzo soprano Joyce DiDonato is Donna Elvira and young soprano Mojca Erdmann is the peasant girl Zerlina, a role she has sung to great acclaim at the Metropolitan Opera, New York.
