The Berliner Philharmoniker and Simon Rattle will be closing 2015 with what appears to be a delightful French music program.
The star guest is Anne-Sophie Mutter, who will performs Camille Saint-Saëns’s thrilling piece ‘Introduction et Rondo capriccioso’ and Maurice Ravel’s highly virtuoso Tzigane.
There will also be orchestral pieces and dances from French operas and ballets, before ending with Ravel’s famous ‘La Valse’.
