Violinist Gil Shaham joins The New World Symphony for an exclusive evening at the Arsht Center in Miami, Florida.
Mr. Shaham will perform the Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece Concerto which demands virtuosic fireworks from the soloist.
Beethoven’s wonderful Sixth Symphony paints the scene of a picturesque stroll through the Vienna countryside.
Both selections are masterful in the hands of conductor Cristian Măcelaru, a University of Miami Frost School of Music graduate who is now Conductor-in-Residence of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
