On December 5, 1791 we lost Mozart. He had been ill for a while, and the man who gave us Operas, symphonies, chamber music, songs, and more left us 224 years ago for ever.
I have always found that there are many emotions in Mozart’s music: Humor, joy, serious stuff, morality issues, poking fun at political leaders, and more.
There are many examples that might seem appropriate as I remember him. What comes to mind is the music from his Opera “Zauberfloete”.
