It was in December, 2015 that Austrian musician Nikolaus Harnoncourt resigned from his professional duties in music. Sigmund Freud wrote many years ago that a man is about Work and Love.
At age 86, clearly a major portion of this man’s life was over. It is now three months later, and now he is gone.
Harnoncourt was the founder of the well known orchestra Concentus Musicus Wien. He was born in Berlin, Germany in 1929.
