When I first began to enjoy Hilary Hahn’s playing, she was still a young woman, and she traveled with the support of her father. So my sense is that more than 20 years have passed since those early days, when I would walk up to her after the concert and ask her to sign my program.
Now a mature, experienced artist is returning to perform in San Francisco.
