How fortunate we are to have the St. Lawrence String Quartet in residence at Stanford. Now in its 17th year here, the Canadian ensemble plays a vast range of music ranging from the classic repertoire to new works written for it by some of the most celebrated composers in contemporary music, among them John Adams and Osvaldo Golijov.
