Here are some details about Ms. Stavreva’s musical accomplishments:
Bulgarian pianist Tania Stavreva made her New York Recital Debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in April 2009, as part of the Artists Internationals 36 Special Presentation Winners Series.
Since that time, she appeared at major venues including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; Williams, Brown and Seully Halls in Boston, Lincoln Center’s Paul Hall, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Artists Services Piano Salon in New York, Boston Symphony’s Higginson Hall and United University Church in Los Angeles, and more.
Ms. Stavreva appeared in numerous music festivals among which are the International Keyboard Institute & Festival in New York, New England Conservatory’s Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance, Pianofest in the Hamptons, Music Fest Perugia in Italy, XXXIII Musical Days “Nedialka Simeonova”, and the Varna Summer International Music Festival in Bulgaria.
Born in Bulgaria, Tania Stavreva started to play the piano at the age of four and gave her first solo recital at the age of five. She graduated from National Music School “Dobrin Petkov” in Plovdiv as a Piano Performance Major in May 2003 with high distinction in both academics and performance.
