Violinist Itzhak Perlman was born in Tel Aviv, Israel on August 31, 1945. During the past years he has entertained us, impressed us, thrilled us, and taught us about all kinds of music.
He also showed us that a man can overcome disabilities, as long as one does not feel sorry for himself.
I salute Mr. PErlman today, and I do so with one of his own recordings:
