While it can certainly be a thrill to interview an artist who already has an international reputation, I am equally excited to speak with an artist that I admire, who is emerging into the international stage, and perhaps not yet well known in the US.
In a few days I expect to speak about a variety of topics with French violinist Esther Abrami. She now lives in London, so this will be a Skype interview, and I hope to include some of her music, as well.
So stay tuned, and check back in a few days to get all the details. Meanwhile here is a sample of Esther’s playing: She performs the second movement from Beethoven’s Sonata number 5, also known as the “Spring Sonata”.
