I am frequently startled and even occasionally surprised by the capabilities of young children to quickly grasp the magic of music. I see more and more of this every day.
Every Musical instrument is highly complex, let alone the rhythm and melodic line that each composer invented. To have a young child comprehend and reproduce the instructions of the composer is truly amazing for me.
Many parents begin to work with their kids at a young age. And as long as there is reasonable balance in the child’s life, as well as top notch teachers, the results are often startling.
