I have posted before about a conductor whom I would like to meet, or at least to listen further to her music interpretations.
Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla
Music fans around the world are learning how to pronounce the name of Lithuanian-born Grazinyte-Tyla after last month’s announcement that she would lead the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The 29-year-old had already been making waves at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where she was a Dudamel Fellow, and will return as an associate conductor next season.
