On this recording, Daniel Barenboim (piano) performs several selections by Claude Debussy.
Though he’s conducted much of the orchestral music, Debussy hasn’t figured prominently in Barenboim’s recordings as a pianist until now. Here he performs Book One of the Préludes, Estampes, Clair de Lune, La plus que lente, and the ever popular Clair de Lune to celebrate the Debussy 100th anniversary year.
