Pianist Yefim Bronfman together with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Zubin Mehta recorded the Brahms and Saint-Saens Piano Concertos presented live in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Grammy Award-winning pianist Yefim Bronfman is widely is regarded as one of the most talented virtuosos performing today.
Born in Bombay, India, Zubin Mehta grew up in a musical environment. He has rapidly become one of the world’s most sought after orchestral and operatic conductors. The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra appointed Mr. Mehta Music Advisor in 1969, Music Director in 1977, and Music Director for Life in 1981. Combining concerts, recordings and tours, Zubin Mehta has conducted thousands of performances on five continents with the IPO. Mr. Mehta will retire from the IPO in October, 2019.
