I really don’t know how many conductors have already released recordings of the four symphonies by Johannes Brahms. And… here we go with yet another one of these albums.
Daniel Barenboim is both a pianist, a conductor, a writer, and a thinker about many aspectes of music. As such, this collection cannot be ignored because it is likely to show us some aspects of Brahms’ music that we may not have known before.
