The Prelude and Fugue in C Major, BWV 846, is a keyboard composition composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. It is the first prelude and fugue in the first book of The Well-Tempered Clavier, a series of 48 preludes and fugues by the composer.
There are many interpretations of this music, particularly because it was written for the Harpsichord rather than for the modern piano.
As s the case for much of Bach’s music, I like to have this played *slowly*, but it also needs to be in the right style.
