Winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition 2015, Ji-Young Lim is one of the most promising violinists, hailing from all of the world. At the age of 20, she began launching her career internationally as a professional performer.
She completed her precollege program of Seoul National University of Arts and gifted education center of Seoul National Arts. Currently, she is a bachelor’s degree candidate of Seoul National University of Arts under the tutelage of professor Nam-Yun Kim.
Her award winning career includes the Indianapolis International Violin Competition, ARD International Music Competition, Montreal International Music Competition, Osaka International Music Competition, International Violin Competition Henri Marteau, and the first prize from Eurasia International Competition. She was a soloist at the Tibor Varga International Music Festival, Indiana Jacobs School of Music, Ishikawa Music Academy, Great Mountains Music Festival and many other places all around the world including United States and many countries in Europe.
