I find that while I am confined to “Shelter in Place”, there is no better companion than my favorite music.
Actually I don’t recall when I first heard the Brahms Intermezzos; Regardless, they have become good friends. Years ago I was the host of a Sunday morning music request program, and the Intermezzo Op 117, #2 was the introduction music for my program. Ultimately, I played the music first, and then I would slowly mute it and then greet my listeners.
