I have previously shared with you the sensitive performances of Yeol Eum Son. Today I continue, and this time it is the predictably sad work by Schubert titled Fantasie in C-Major, D. 934. I say “predictably sad”, because he died at age 31, had few meaningful relationships with women, and was a master at expressing his emotion.
Ms. Son and the excellent pianist Clara-Jumi Kang create a world of dreams for us right from the very beginning of this Schubert masterpiece.
