Musicians who have performed for many years often take up conducting. Examples are Yitzhak Perlman, Mitsuko Uchida, Yehudi Menuhin, Joshua Bell, and many others.
Now pianist Yuja Wang joins this amazing group.
Ms. Wang was born into a musical family in Beijing. After childhood piano studies in China, she received advanced training in Canada and at Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music under Gary Graffman. Her international career was built on dedication, hard work, and a total commitment to her chosen profession. She also has an outstanding stage presence and a fine sense of humor.
