Several years ago, in 2017, I created my first post about pianist Elena Fischer-Dieskau. You can read that first post here:

Today I am writing again about Ms. Fischer-Dieskau, because her new CD has recently been issued. On that album are some of my favorite piano pieces by Johannes Brahms and by Robert Schumann.
Listen on Apple Music or Spotify.
Brahms lived close to the lake called Attersee in Austria where these pieces were likely composed. I am able to recall Nature there as I listen to Ms. Fischer-Dieskau play this music.
Consider purchasing this lovely CD for your own collection. You can locate it on-line.
