Born in San Francisco, Leon Fleisher began playing piano at the age of four, and began studying with Artur Schnabel at age nine.
His students include André Watts, Yefim Bronfman, Hélène Grimaud, Louis Lortie, Jonathan Biss, and Yuja Wang (!!)
