I began to study the violin at age 7 when I was living in Jerusalem. I later also studied in Vienna, Austria, and at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC.
One of my favorite works is this violin sonata #5 by Beethoven. There are many interpretations of this music that are excellent, including the ones by Anne-Sophie Mutter, David Oistrakh, and others.
Observe below the performance by violinist Christian Ferras: He’s built like a tank. He stands firmly. He does not look at other people or other objects. He’s not distracted. He does not move from his spot. It is as though he says: “Hey, folks, I have Beethoven for you!!”
