Thomas Zehetmair plays Ravel and Debussy
Well known for their excellence in the French repertoire, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris is now under the musical direction of violinist and conductor Thomas Zehetmair.
The debut recording of their collaboration is a program dedicated to two giants of French music, Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy. The selections are as follows:

- Danse (1891)
- Tzigane
- Pavane pour une infante défunte
- Le Tombeau de Couperin

The well-known violinist, conductor and chamber musician Thomas Zehetmair has been Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since the 2012/13 season.
From what I am hearing in recordings, he and this chamber group are making terrific music together. In 2005 Thomas Zehetmair received the “Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik” for his artistic versatility. He holds an honorary doctorate from the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany.
