Music from Old Vienna.
- The MET Chamber Ensemble performs.
Conductor and pianist James Levine has recovered, and on Sunday, November 16th we get to listen again to a concert by the ensemble he founded, the MET Chamber Ensemble.
All of the music to be performed at this concert is of Viennese origin, and it includes the following:

• Alban BERG: Adagio for Violin, Clarinet, and Piano from the Chamber Concerto
• Alban BERG: Four Pieces for Clarinet and Piano, Op. 5
• Anton Webern: Four Pieces for Violin and Piano, Op. 7

• Anton WEBERN: Variations for Piano, Op. 27
• Johann STRAUSS JR.: Rosen aus dem Süden, (Roses from the South), Op. 388 (arr. Schoenberg), as performed by American soprano Kiera Duffy.
• Arnold SCHOENBERG: “Pierrot lunaire”
