Saturday’s concert by Evgeny Kissin! Fortunately for us, as music lovers, there are many fine concerts everywhere at this time of the year. And for my friends in New York I have one terrific suggestion: Pianist Evgeny Kissin’s concert at Carnegie Hall. The Russian-born pianist will performs Beethoven’s “Waldstein” Sonata and also Prokofiev’s Fourth Sonata. For the second half of the concert, you will be entertained with several Chopin nocturnes and mazurkas. What more can you ask for? Hey, if anyone in California has access to a private jet, I’d love to come along to NYC for this Saturday night delight. Venue:
- Carnegie Hall. 212-247-7800
Date:
- May 16 at 8 PM
