The Hagen String Quartet from Salzburg is my all-time favorite chamber music group.
In fact, many years ago when they came to Carmel, California, I met them all there for an interview. they were very gracious, and particularly Ms. Veronika Hagen, viola, interrupted her lunch break to speak with me ant to show me her
Stradivari instrument.
The concert itself followed and was well-attended, and yes… it featured many selections by Mozart.
